EPIC Leadership Academies

EPIC Leadership Academies Overview (September – May)

The EPIC Leadership Academies are dynamic, year-long programs designed to cultivate leadership, personal development, and career readiness among middle and high school students. Running from September through May, these academies provide structured mentorship, skill-building opportunities, and immersive experiences, culminating in a completion ceremony celebrating student growth and achievements.

EPIC Leadership Academy Standards

Purpose

The EPIC Leadership Academy is a year-long leadership development experience designed to build students in identity, discipline, leadership, and real-world readiness. Enrollment in the Academy is a commitment to growth, consistency, and active participation.

Membership & Commitment

When a student enrolls in the EPIC Leadership Academy, they are considered a full member for the academic year. Membership provides access to exclusive opportunities including:

  • Leadership development sessions
  • Volunteer opportunities
  • Special events and field experiences
  • Student leadership roles
  • EPIC hangouts and community-building experiences

Participation in these opportunities is a privilege that is tied to a student’s engagement, behavior, and attendance within the Academy.

Attendance Expectations

The EPIC Leadership Academy is a structured program, not a drop-in experience. Students are expected to attend all scheduled sessions and arrive on time.

Before registering, parents/guardians and students should carefully review the program calendar and ensure the student is able to commit to attending all or most scheduled dates.

  • Students are expected to maintain consistent attendance throughout the academic year
  • Parents must notify EPIC in advance of any absences when possible
  • Repeated absences, late arrivals, or inconsistent participation may impact a student’s standing in the program

Enrollment Status & Accountability

Students who do not meet attendance expectations or demonstrate consistent engagement may be:

  • Placed on attendance review
  • Restricted from certain opportunities
  • Unenrolled from the EPIC Leadership Academy for the remainder of the academic year

EPIC Youth reserves the right to make enrollment decisions based on a student’s participation, commitment, and alignment with program expectations.

Graduation & Certification

Students who successfully complete the EPIC Leadership Academy will be recognized for their commitment and growth.

To be eligible for graduation and receive a Certificate of Completion, students must:

  • Maintain at least 80% attendance across the program
  • Actively participate in sessions and activities
  • Demonstrate growth in leadership, behavior, and engagement

Students who do not meet the 80% attendance requirement may not be eligible for graduation recognition or certification.

The EPIC Leadership Academy is designed for students who are ready to commit to their growth, show up consistently, and take ownership of their development. We are building leaders, and leadership requires discipline, accountability, and follow-through.

EPIC Young Professional Program (High School)

The EPIC Young Professional Program equips high school students with the tools to develop their leadership potential, build professional skills, and explore career pathways. With a one-time open enrollment in September, students engage in monthly sessions focused on career exploration, professional development, leadership training, and academic accountability. The program offers exposure to industry professionals, networking opportunities, and real-world experiences to prepare students for life beyond high school.

Eryn PiNK Girl Empowerment Program (Middle School)

The Eryn PiNK Girl Empowerment Program is dedicated to inspiring and empowering young girls to embrace their confidence, leadership, and purpose.
