Boys of ICE School Program Facilitator Intern 

Position Type: Internship
Schedule: Part-Time
Hours: Approximately 8 hours per week
Pay: $19/hour
Location: Onsite — Columbus, Ohio
Program Start: Late October/Early November

Position Overview

Are you studying Education, Social Work, Psychology, Human Development, Counseling, or a related field and looking for meaningful, hands-on experience working with youth?

EPIC Youth is seeking motivated college students and emerging professionals to serve as School Program Facilitator Interns within our middle and high school programs. This internship goes beyond observation. Interns will work directly with students, support program facilitation, build meaningful relationships, and gain practical experience creating engaging and supportive learning environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and facilitate middle and high school programming
  • Mentor students individually and in small-group settings
  • Facilitate leadership, life-skills, and personal development activities
  • Support classroom management and student engagement
  • Build positive and consistent relationships with students
  • Track student participation, progress, and engagement
  • Complete case notes and program documentation
  • Help connect students with appropriate resources and referrals
  • Collaborate with EPIC Youth staff to support effective program delivery

Professional Development & Experience

Interns will gain experience in:

  • Youth mentoring and relationship building
  • Classroom and small-group facilitation
  • Student engagement and behavior management
  • Leadership and life-skills curriculum delivery
